Other leading scorers were Duncan Keith (24) and David Cameron (5) 62, John Bunyan (21) and Gordon Pettigrew (7) 64. The competition scratch score was 63.

The final placings in the Sir Harry Hope Cup competition played over three rounds with the best 18-hole score counting were: J. Stewart (27) 56, J. McAlister (20) 59 bih, D. Cameron (6) 59.
