JOHN KERNAGHAN
ended the old year the way he began ... in winning form when he added
a Boxing Day Stableford success to his list of victories at Kingarth
for 2007. The 12-handicapper weathered the windy conditions better than
his fellow competitiors as he scored the creditable total of 40 points
to take first prize. A youthful 81-year-old Bobby Gordon had to settle
for runner-up spot with 38 playing off 22 while third prize went to
Bobby Speirs (12) thanks to a better inward half against Gordon Little
(16) and Ian McDougall (17) who all scored 36 points.
