IT WAS three-and-easy
for Graham Bolton as he produced another sub-par round which included
10 threes at Kingarth on Saturday. The scratch player's gross 64 earned
him 40 points in the latest round of the Winter League -- but despite
an eight-birdie performance he had to settle for third place. Kenneth
McDougall (15) produced his best round of the stableford competition
so far to lead the way on 43 points with John Bunyan (19) runner-up
on 42. Other leading scorers included Duncan Speirs (7), David Bryden
(7), and Ian McDougall (15) all with 39 points.
The seventh
round of the league, sponsored by Stephen Thomas Financial Services,
continues tomorrow (Saturday) with the usual 8.30am ballot.
