DONALD STANDALOFT begins his bid for a third successive championship win at Kingarth tomorrow (Saturday) in the first qualifying round of this year's title event.  

The leading eight players from two medal rounds go forward to the match-play stages while the next eight  scorers will battle it out for the Cuthbertson Cup in the "Wee Championship".  

The Texas scramble mixed competition for the Kerrytonlia Cup takes place next Friday (June 1). An entry sheet for the event is now on display in the clubhouse.   Adverse weather led to the postponement of last Saturday's stableford competition for the Kingarth Trophy.

A new date will be arranged later in the season
