FORMER club
champion Gordon Pettigrew was back in the winners' enclosure last week
when he lifted the St Blane's Trophy with a one-shot victory at Kingarth.
A seven-foot birdie putt on the 18th green completed a solid performance
by seven-handicapper Pettigrew who finished on net 63 after a two-over-par
70. Bobby Speirs (13) was runner-up on 64, with other fine performances
from junior Stephen Greenshields (20) 65 and Alistair McFarlane (13)

proprietors of St Blane's Hotel, Kilchattan Bay for their continued
generosity in providing all the prizes and a goody-bag for every competitor.
The presentation of awards takes place at the hotel after tomorrow's
medal.
