During current COVID pandemic as per Scottish Golf instructions the following restrictions apply (updated 16/4/21):

• Adults living in Level 3 or Level 4 areas may leave their local authority area to participate in informal exercise that starts and finishes in the same place.
• Groups can consist of up to 4 golfers from within Scotland, with no restrictions on number of households.

This means that players from outwith the club’s local authority area can now travel to participate in a casual game of golf. However, where cross-border travel is required, competitive play will not be permitted at this time. We anticipate that from the 26th April, subject to further announcements, this restriction will also be lifted.

Pre-booking a tee time is required for Track and Trace purposes. This can be done by contacting our Hon Secretary, Douglas Lyle, on 07765864038, when Track and Trace details will be recorded. Alternatively, you can book online at the Bute Golf Course Tee Booking Tool and in this situation the COVID Track and Trace paperwork should be completed by all visitors on arrival at the course. These should be placed in the envelope with the appropriate Green Fee and this posted through the letterbox in the clubhouse door.

If you are unable to pre-book, please complete the paperwork at the Clubhouse as above.

All current Scottish Government social distancing guidance should be adhered to while visiting the course.

Visitors are always welcome at Bute Golf Club with the exception of Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays between 14:00 and 15:00 inc. Also, Saturday mornings up until 11.30am because of club competitions, see Fixture List for details. The green fee entitles golfers to play nine-holes, 18 holes … or all day!
